(Above Ground Level)
Elevation:     5370 ft
Snow heavy at times over the entire area through this evening.
North to northeast winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around
40 mph will produce blizzard conditions and considerable drifting
snow on the plains by afternoon. The worst conditions are
expected to be in areas south of a line from Boulder to Akron.

Total snow acculations by late Thursday night will range from
6 to 12 inches across the northeast plains... with 8 to 16 inches
of snow from the Denver Metro area to Limon... and one to two feet
in Douglas and western Elbert counties. The snow and prolonged
winds will also produce considerable drifting of snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
occurring or imminent. Sustained wind and/or frequent wind gusts
of 35 mph or higher will combine with considerable falling and
blowing snow to produce widespread visibilities below one quarter
of a mile. Travel will be extremely dangerous and is discouraged
in these whiteout conditions. If you must travel... have a winter
survival kit with you. If you get stranded... stay with your
vehicle and wait for help to arrive.

old: Passenger Airbag Switch
CRX del Sol news TNT writes "
I don't know how many of us would like to have a switch disabling the passenger side airbag on your del Sol, but I know I've been at a loss when my sisters kids want to ride with me. They are too little to ride with the airbag enabled. If you have a similar situation, here's how to go about getting a switch installed:

1. Go to http://www.safercar.gov/airbags/brochure/ and read the brochure.

2. If you have questions contact Peter Ong at the NHTSA's Airbag division: 202-366-0583

3. Then visit http://www.safercar.gov/airbags/brochure/switchrequest.pdf to download the application.

4. Complete the form and mail or fax it in to the address/phone number on the form. It usually takes 48 hours for them to process and return to you a permit to have the work done.

5. Take the permit to your dealership or repair facility to have the switch installed.

Some dealerships may not want to do the install even with the appropriate paperwork filed. You can try to press them but liability issues may mean they will deny the request. In such a case try other repair facilities.
